On a special day, specifically about two weeks ago when the IT department finally realized that it was becoming impossible for me to work efficiently with an ancient computer and I was asked politely to move all my beloved toys temporarily to the other desk so there would be enough room to set up my new PC, this is what my desk looks like:
To quote my editor who once tried sitting at my desk when I was away on a business trip: “I couldn’t. I just couldn’t. They were all staring at me.”
